Kenyatta University team had the opportunity to visit the gallery at the Castle of Pomeranian Dukes, with the exhibition of students of Academy of Art in Szczecin under the curator of the exhibition Anna Sienkiewicz. In the exhibition “Koniec na początek” [The end at the beginning] are presented some of the art works created in the last academic year, very different than the others before it, due to the state of pandemic. The art works express a specific atmosphere of isolation and melancholy, though in between the fears are present also positive notes.
After this visit the team was taken to the Gallery of Contemporary Art “Trafostacja Sztuki” in which they had the opportunity to observe mounting of the newest exhibition and see an exhibit of the artworks of Wiktoria Walendzik, graduate of Academy of Art in Szczecin, with guidance and introduction by Jędrzej Wijas.
