Soprano Sylwia Burnicka-Kalischewska and violinist Alicja Pilarczyk are conducting Masterclasses for students at Kenyatta University during the month of February. The scholars visiting from the Academy of Art in Szczecin will work with students to create and present ensemble and individual performances. Prof.Burnicka-Kalischewska, with accompanist Dominik Wizjan MA at the piano, and Dr. Pilarczyk also will perform a series of concerts whilst in Nairobi. These will take place at venues around the Kenyan capital, including at the Kenya National Theatre (15/2), the National Museums of Kenya (18/2) and at the residence of the Polish Ambassador to Kenya, Jacek Bazański. Admission is free of charge to performances at the public venues.
