Kilifi Research by Małgorzata Mazur

Małgorzata Mazur is a cinematographer and film director. In February 2020, she conducted a short course in Photography and Film at Pwani University. Together with Kenyan film director Zippy Kimundu, she has conducted a preliminary study on the situation of women in polygamist relationships in the village of Fumbini (Kilifi). The research will be continued in the next edition of the festival “Duos” and will take the form of a documentary film, which will tell a story of the tribal dance group “Zaire Ngome Msaga Pore” – whose members live in polygamous and monogamous relationships.
