The mobility of the Pwani University research team including Prof. Stephen Muoki, Dr. Nancy Ngowa, and PhD Candidate Fredrick Ndegwa took place in January 2021. During their stay the group became acquainted with the equipment and methods of education at the faculties in musical and visual disciplines at the Academy of Art in Szczecin, in terms of the equipment needs at Pwani University. During their stay, the researchers participated in a series of workshop meetings in small working groups – both online and stationary, keeping social distancing – aimed at creation of curricula for Diploma and Bachelor’s level in Art & Design at Pwani University. An important, procedural step was the realization of the Stakeholders Meeting, during which there was collected feedback from stakeholders of the programmes to be implemented in the final document. The project is in the process of preparing the next mobility group of researchers from the Academy of Art in Szczecin, composed of Prof. Aleksandra Łukaszewicz Alcaraz, Wiktoria Tundys, and Dr. Michał Kulik. The purpose of the mobility is to follow up the work on curricula and elaborate course descriptions in cooperation with researchers from Pwani University and the University of Macerata.
